Rock Your 2020 Wellness Goals with CBD

As the new year approaches, gyms will be filling and diet plans and wellness packages will be off the shelves (well, the online shelves) as people get reinvigorated to set and achieve new health goals. We applaud everyone who wants to better themselves in the New Year, but we encourage to not turn to fads and gimmicky weight loss choices, but the strategies and tools that will help keep you healthy all year, not just until February or March.

CBD is not a health trend. It may be booming but it’s because if the changing legalities surrounding it. People have been using CBD oil for years to treat major health conditions just as seizures, and you can use it to help meet your wellness goals in 2020!

How? Here are just a few ways:

It Can Improve Your Workouts:

Many athletes have claimed, and studies have backed this up, that taking CBD oil does a number of things that lead to a better and more productive workout.

CBD:

  • Reduces the inflammation that leads to pain and soreness
  • Improves recovery time
  • Increases mobility
  • Boosts injury healing

You can take it from a tincture daily to feel these benefits daily or, we have a great body oil that can help relieve pain and sore muscles after a workout.

When you feel good after you work out (instead of like you’re going to die) you’re more likely to stick with it. So, add a daily dose of CBD to your wellness regimen and keep moving!

It Can Improve Sleep:

Getting enough sleep is an important part of your overall health. Better sleep doesn’t just boost your athletic performance, it just keeps you healthy in general.

Did you know that a lack of sleep can:

  • Impair learning and concentration?
  • Kill your sex drive?
  • Increase the likelihood of heart attacks, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes?

Yikes. Better make sure you’re catching enough zzzz’s. Good thing CBD helps regulate the endocannabinoid system which helps our body’s regulate sleep. Restless sleepers who use CBD regularly often notice an improvement in their sleep length and quality.

It Can Help Zen You Out:

CBD can help with both anxiety and depression. And while it’s common knowledge that physical activity plays a huge part in improving mental health, it’s basically impossible to get yourself to work out when you’re depressed. So, you should work out to feel less depressed but when you’re depressed, you don’t want to work out…it’s a vicious cycle. One that CBD can help break.

Studies have shown that CBD has an anti-depressent effect on users. Anecdotal evidence shows that users who take it before stressful events see an improvement in performance and a decrease in their levels of anxiety.

Take it daily to ease everyday anxiety or take an extra dose before a particularly stressful day or moment. When you feel good mentally, you’re more likely to take care of yourself and stick to your wellness and fitness goals.

Don’t set unrealistic health goals in the new year. If you don’t work out at all, you’re not going to start going to the gym seven days a week.  Start small by shooting for 3 days, or doing yoga at home. Improve your diet by cutting out one sweet…and then another. And add CBD to your daily wellness regimen to start feeling better in the new decade!
