What is Cannabidoil or CBD? An In depth Look Into What CBD Is!

There is quite the buzz going around with CBD oil right now and there are still many people who do not understand what it is.

CBD or Cannabidoil is a compound that is extracted from the hemp plant this is now showing tremendous promise to various health issues. At this time, however, no health claims can be officially stated except for 2 types of seizures that the FDA has approved the drug epidox for.

At this time, CBD oil is in a grey area as far as the legality of it. Although it is available around the world and in most states in the US. The overall governing issue is the amount of THC that is in the Cannabidoil oil. The federal government states it has to be below .03% THC to be legal.

The oil has been on the market for a few years now and it is clear from what people are saying that it is helping in many areas. However, without proper FDA testing it must be stated that everything that we hear at this point is not verified by the government.

One of the most confusing aspects about CBD is that people think it is the same as Marijuana. Let me clearly state it is NOT. CBD is non-psychotropic. It will not get you high or impact you as marijuana does. CBD is growing in popularity and it may be one of the most important discoveries as a natural substance that has incredible health benefits..

There are over 100 compounds that are found in the oil that work synergistic-ally with your body. In 1988 in a study that was funded by the government, Allyn Howlett and William Devane discovred that our brain has receptors that respond to the compounds that are found in cannabis. These receptors are named Cannabinoid recpetors and it is now known that it is actually the most abundant type of neurotransmitter receptor in the brain.

This is an amazing discovery. Let’s just take pain as an example here. Pain is regulated by our neurotransmitters so it only makes sense that if the most abundant type of neurotransmitter in the brain is Cannnabinoid, then it makes sense that people are reporting pain relief from using CBD oil.

I have been personally using CBD oil for about a year now, and have seen a tremendous impact on not only my own health but the health of many others as well. I have had insomnia for most of my adult life and have gone the medical root to try and get relief from this awful disorder. Unfortunately, the medical model is not very good for insomnia and the drugs they use to treat insomnia have many poor side effects.

After learning about CBD oil, I began to experiment and learn about CBD Oil. It took me, 3 different vendors, to finally find a Pure full spectrum version of CBD that had a stunning effect on my sleep and insomnia. I can say that for the entire time I have been on CBD oil that my sleep has improved tremendously and I no longer have issues with sleep.

This has changed my life in so many ways and I am very thankful that I have found this solution.

How Does CBD Work With The Body?

After the discovery of the endocannabinoid system in 1988, there has been a ton of research showing that this system in our body is responsible for maintaining homeostasis: The definition of homeostasis is the ability or tendency to maintain internal stability in an organized to compensate for environmental changes. As an example, the human bodies homeostasis is keeping the average temperature of our body to 98.6 degrees

This balance within our body regulates many functions including blood sugar levels, our pain levels, sleeping, inflammation and are all constantly regulated within our body to manta in our health.

So if CBD impacts our homeostasis, it only makes sense that we are seeing a wide impact across the board when it comes to what CBD Oil is doing for people. The testimonials that I have seen are stunning and cover hundreds of health areas. Knowing how closely tied to our endocannabinoid system is tied to homeostasis, we can now fully begin to understand why CBD oil is working so well for so many people.

Is CBD Oil The Same As Hemp Oil?

No, it is not. Hemp oil had nutritional value and has been around for a long time. Hemp oil does come from the same plant, however, it does not contain the Cannabidoil components that CBD oil does. It is vital to understand that they are vastly different and to be careful as a consumer to be educated on this.

As the CBD oil market continues to explode, there are no doubt that there are going to be many variations of CBD that are passed off as CBD. Due to the unregulated nature currently as it is under the FDA, you can bet your bottom dollar if there is money to be made then you will find many unscrupulous sellers who make cheaper variations that will not have the impact that pure full spectrum CBD Oil has.

Be very careful when buying CBD Oil and do NOT base your decision on price. When I first took CBD oil I, like many consumers wanted to find the cheapest solution. The first 2 types of CBD oil I took did not work. Companies in an effort to make more profit will ad fillers to the oil to stretch it and increase profit. Make sure you are dealing with a company that is well known and reputable. I personally use HbNaturals and they have a wide range of health products and they are all organic as well. They have been around for over 5 years now and are a very stable company.

So back to the difference between hemp oil and CBD Oil.

Hemp oil is extracted from the plant called hemp. It has been around for a long time and is being used for a variety of industrial uses as well as cooking. It is also used as a natural moisturizer as well. It can be used as a replacement for olive oil and is very healthy for the body to consume. Additionally, it has been used to make bio-diesel fuel. It has also been used to make rope, and here is a fun fact. The original flag for the united states was made out of hemp. It has bee around for a long time and had many wonderful uses.

CBD oil is taken from the stalks, leaves, and buds of the hemp plans as it is now known that within these components of the hemp plant is a much higher level of CBD within them. It was discovered years ago that medical marijuana has a great medicinal impact for various issues like chemotherapy. Obviously, marijuana has been used to “get high” and used to be a serious drug offense. Those days are over as marijuana is now becoming legalized around the world for recreation growth and use.

CBD oil is utilized for medical reasons where hemp is utilized for cooking and industrial uses. The major difference between CBD oil and marijuana is the amount of THC that is in them. CBD has very very little THC if any at all. This is why it is non-psychotropic.

So you should now have a clear understanding of the difference between hemp oil and CBD Oil.

What Kind of CBD oil Should You Buy?

As I mentioned above, I have done the legwork here on what kind of CBD oil you should buy. I highly recommend for the best impact that you only buy organic pure full spectrum CBD Oil. HBNaturals is my choice when it comes to buying CBD Oil. They provide a full spectrum and all of their products are organic and regulated. You can order directly online and they deliver to your door with full tracking so you will know what to expect. Their customer service is actually human beings that answer the phone and the support is excellent. A rarity in these days.

Additionally, they offer a very nice incentive program in which you can introduce CBD Oil to people you know who may benefit and they will pay you a percentage as an affiliate with the company. I look at it this way. If you are taking something that is all natural and helps with possibly hundreds of various medical issues, and it works for you, why would you NOT want to share it with those you love. This is a great way to not only offset your costs to purchase the product but to truly help others as well. And who knows, over time you could build a nice customer base and actually make a very nice supplemental income from helping others. This is a true win-win.

How Much is CBD Oil?

You will find huge variations on the pricing of CBD Oil. It all goes back to what I said earlier about what company you are dealing with and if they sell full spectrum and if they are reputable. Unfortunately, in the world we live in, we are now seeing cheaper knockoffs as the competition for this huge and growing market continues.

DO NOT GO FOR PRICE ONLY!

This is a huge mistake for many reasons. If you want CBD Oil that is going to address a medical issue you may be having, then find one as I have mentioned that is fully organic and also what is called full spectrum.

There are different variations of mgs within the CBD oil family. You will find anything from 500mg all the way up to 1500mg. I have been taking the 1000mg version and it has worked wonderfully.

Plan on spending around $100-$130.00 for a 1000mg version of pure organic full spectrum CBD oil.

Can you find cheaper?

Of course you will, however ,you will not be happy with the results you get.

How Much CBD Oil Do I Take?

This is a very difficult question to answer as there are so many variables involved. What I have found and what I recommend is you start with a set dosage of 4-5 drops twice a day and do that for at least 5 days. Everyone’s bodies are different and I have heard all sorts of amounts that work for people. Some are great with 4-5, and others take up to 25 drops.

So your best bet it to start with 4-5 and work your way up from there. One thing that is very important is when you find what I call you sweet spot is you stay there. My gal and I have had days where it did not seem to be working as well as other days. This is to be expected. We experimented with taking more however we found that was not the answer. The goal is to find where your sweet spot of the number of drops is and stay there.

Again, everyone is different in how they respond to CBD. You will have to experiment and find the right dosage for your body. And remember, if you have a bad day and it does not seem to be working like other days, do not change the amount you are taking. I have sciatic nerve issues, and it has helped about 70% of the time. Some days you may have to just deal with the pain or the issue. However, in my case where it is a nerve issue, it is a bit trickier to deal with.

Are their any know side effects to CBD Oil?

In general, there are very few reports of any adverse side effects of CBD Oil. However, it is always recommended that you talk to your doctor before trying CBD. It really depends on what pills you are taking.

My sister had some unpleasant side effects when she took CBD oil and made her sick to her stomach. However, she is also on some pretty powerful drugs as well.

  • Here are some known side effects that have been reported by people:
  • Dry Mouth. Sometimes CBD oil can cause a dry mouth
  • There are some reported cases that high doses of CBD Oil can cause a drop in blood pressure
  • Lightheadedness or Dizziness
